Overview
Chobe National Park is famous for its impressive elephant population, with large herds gathering along the Chobe River each day. During the dry season, as many as 85,000 elephants are estimated to roam the park, most of them concentrated near the riverfront. In addition to its iconic elephants, Chobe offers an extraordinary variety of wildlife. Visitors may encounter lion, leopard, buffalo, and an array of antelope species including sable, puku, kudu, eland, roan, and many others. The river itself hosts sizeable pods of hippos and some of Africa’s largest crocodiles.
This tour departs daily for Chobe National Park in Botswana. Guests are transferred to the Kazungula border, where they are met by their Botswana guide before proceeding directly to a morning boat cruise for exceptional game viewing along the Chobe River. The cruise concludes around 12:30, followed by lunch at a riverside hotel. After lunch, guests embark on an afternoon game drive inside Chobe National Park. Once the drive is complete, guests are transferred back to the Kazungula border to meet their Zimbabwean guide for the return trip to Victoria Falls.
